The person behind ProTrade

I built ProTrade because I watched good shops lose jobs they already earned

One person, local to Tampa, who builds it, runs it, and puts it in writing. You never learn software. You never log into anything. You deal with me.

My story, short and true

Every step was the deep end

I have jumped into things I didn't know how to do, over and over, and worked until I was the best in the room. Welding, a new country, a new language, sales and service, and now automation. Each one from zero.

  1. BRAZIL, AGE 16 TO 19

    I held the torch

Born into a family of iron workers. Trade school for welding at sixteen, MIG-MAG and TIG at the big steel mill by eighteen, and at nineteen the youngest person there ever made supervisor, at the same company my father gave twenty-six years to.

  2. BOSTON, AGE 20

I left with no English and no net

I turned down an easier path at home and started over in a country where I couldn't speak the language. I forced myself out of comfortable jobs on purpose and taught myself English by immersion. Fluent in a couple of years.

  3. SALES AND SERVICE, TWENTY YEARS

I learned the whole game is follow-up

Twenty years of relationship-driven sales and service, including more than a decade in fine dining, from busing tables to running the room. In 2019 I was the top server in a Boston fine-dining room, $2.4M in sales that year, with guests flying in from other states to sit in my section. The lesson stuck: answer fast, follow up, treat people right. When you get busy, that is the first thing to slip.

  4. TAMPA, NOW

    So I built ProTrade

I taught myself automation the same way I taught myself everything else, and I kept seeing local shops lose money they already earned. A call missed on a roof. A quote nobody chased. A list of old customers sitting cold. That isn't a marketing problem, it's a follow-up problem. So I build the systems that never let it slip, and I stand behind every one.

Not just a tech guy

When my wife and I bought our house, the master bath had no doors. So I did the job myself, start to finish. I framed a beam into the ceiling, hung the barn doors, cut the drywall, and felt every part of it, the good and the ugly. I wanted to know what a contractor knows standing in that room. So when I build systems for your shop, the work behind the phone call isn't abstract to me.

I only do this the honest way

Safe, not sorry

Some people teach shops to text their whole list at once and hide the bad reviews. That is how you get your number flagged and your Google listing pulled. I only message customers who agreed to hear from you, and I ask everyone for a review the same honest way.

One accountable person

Not a faceless agency handing you to a call center. I build it, I run it, and I answer my own phone. If I can't do something well for you, I will tell you. That is the deal.

In writing

I never touch your card data, and I don't promise you a number I can't stand behind. It is a little slower and a lot safer. There's no long-term contract, but every engagement is put in writing, no fine print.
